The Council on Adoptable Children of Southwestern Pennsylvania is support group for adoptive families and others interested in adoption. COAC was started by a group of adoptive families in the Pittsburgh area in 1978. My wife and I joined COAC in 1990. I've served as the President of COAC, a volunteer position, since the fall of 1992.
